Today I finished a teaching session at a local Head Start. It’s part of a non profit job that I work where we go in to provide music class for places that otherwise don’t have it. And it was so hard to say goodbye.

One of my students gave me a sticker because he wanted me to know he thinks I’m awesome and fun. One class signed a card and gave me a picture of us all from one class. It was a good day.

We’re still figuring out exactly what the goal of our class sessions is. So I have a bit of a break before we start the next round. But I’m ready to get out there and bring more music to more kids.

About texancountess

I find myself in the calming roar of the sea, floating gently on the foam of the breaking waves. Blue. Green. Gray. The colors of the sea mark the boundaries of my soul. The tumbled glass finds its polish under the relentless pounding of the waves upon the shore. Thus am I. Rough transitioning to polish, refinement ever a process, finding my niche in the storms of life.
