NaBloPoMo 2015: An Introduction

This year has felt so incredibly short. I’m still shocked that November has already kicked  our doors in, bringing with it shorter days, cooler weather, and the end of Daylight Savings. I think back to where I was a year ago and can’t help but smile at how different things are than I thought they would be. Still, I’m not entirely sure where the year went. I suppose this is growing up, as Gretchen Rubin says, the days are long but the years are short.

Yet, here we are staring down November and NaBloPoMo 2015. I love NaBloPoMo for pulling us all together around the proverbial campfire. Here we can come together for a month to share our stories and experiences.

It’s the best possible way, in my opinion, to start the end of the year. I hope you’ll join me.

About texancountess

I find myself in the calming roar of the sea, floating gently on the foam of the breaking waves. Blue. Green. Gray. The colors of the sea mark the boundaries of my soul. The tumbled glass finds its polish under the relentless pounding of the waves upon the shore. Thus am I. Rough transitioning to polish, refinement ever a process, finding my niche in the storms of life.

That’s a really good way to think of the Nablopomo experience. Let’s do this thing.
