Coming Home

After a fabulous week in Michigan, I am currently sitting on my final flight for the day. Things were slightly complicated by President Obama flying through the GRR airport when our flight was supposed to leave. Still, we easily made our second flights and even had time to grab one last meal together. (so you aren’t worried about me blogging inflight, we’re currently waiting on the catering for the plane)

Coming home this time has mixed feelings. This is my last trip home to Texas. I’m about to move off and make a new home. So there’s a lot of nostalgia. I’m excited to see everyone again, but at the same time, I’m sad about saying goodbye. And of course it was hard saying goodbye to B. Even knowing I’ll be with him again in just a week and a half. Eleven days.

Still, I’m coming home to a full schedule over the next week. Hopefully it’ll keep my mind off of what’s to come.

About texancountess

I find myself in the calming roar of the sea, floating gently on the foam of the breaking waves. Blue. Green. Gray. The colors of the sea mark the boundaries of my soul. The tumbled glass finds its polish under the relentless pounding of the waves upon the shore. Thus am I. Rough transitioning to polish, refinement ever a process, finding my niche in the storms of life.
