Out of pocket

I’m waiting on a taxi to take me to the airport! Off to spend the week with B! I’m so excited!!

This is the longest I’ll have spent with him since, oh wait, ever. I’m also hoping to do some job interviewing and hunting.

Wish me luck! And if I don’t update until I get back – I’ll see you in a week!

About texancountess

I find myself in the calming roar of the sea, floating gently on the foam of the breaking waves. Blue. Green. Gray. The colors of the sea mark the boundaries of my soul. The tumbled glass finds its polish under the relentless pounding of the waves upon the shore. Thus am I. Rough transitioning to polish, refinement ever a process, finding my niche in the storms of life.

  1. Countess!
Sorry I didn’t have my phone on hand when you called. I really wish I hadn’t missed you because I probably won’t be able to reach you again ’til you get back! ;)
I know you and B. will have an amazing week. Have fun cooking and job hunting and…okay, my brain just wandered into awkward territory.

I’m incredibly impressed with how well you handled the Delta disaster. Times like these I really want to buy that bumper sticker that reads PEOPLE SUCK…but I don’t think it’d go over well at Saint Mary’s Hall. Yeah…no.

Yes, I changed my blog name. No, hopefully I won’t change it again. And yes, you’re probably right; chances are I’ll change it again.

    • Hey love,

Awkward territory is so what we do…remember the nurse at RuRu’s first sick dr’s appointment? What about all of the faculty/staff bball games…or the five months I lived with y’all. I don’t think anything is awkward between us anymore.

I would call you right now, but I bet that you aren’t up…seeing as it isn’t even nine yet…B. is at work right now, so I’ll call you in a bit.
