Giving Thanks

I am grateful for my family. I am grateful for my friends. I am grateful for my God and Savior. I am grateful for my freedom. I’m thankful for food, clothing, a home, and the opportunity to go to school. I am grateful that I grew up knowing I was loved and wanted. I am grateful for all the people that bless my life. I am grateful for the simple things in life – football, turkey and ham, and pumpkin desserts. I am grateful that there is only a week left until the end of the semester. I am, simply, grateful.

About texancountess

I find myself in the calming roar of the sea, floating gently on the foam of the breaking waves. Blue. Green. Gray. The colors of the sea mark the boundaries of my soul. The tumbled glass finds its polish under the relentless pounding of the waves upon the shore. Thus am I. Rough transitioning to polish, refinement ever a process, finding my niche in the storms of life.
