Staying up all night long!

Just waiting and watching. The storm is 65 miles off the coast still. And it’s 600 miles across. All the way from here to Panama, Florida. The wind is really gusty and we’re now under a tornado watch until tomorrow morning. We’re also under a  flood warning and a flash flood watch. Although I’m fairly sure that this goes with being under a hurricane advisory.

The power is flickering on and off all around us. We’ve been holding steady. We did move the bed into the living room. There’s no where away from windows, but these windows are more sheltered. It’s also in front of the tv and we plan on staying up to watch the weather all night. It’s been good times,  at least for us.

Hmm, well our power just flickered again. I’m staying safe. If you’re in the storm area then you do the same. If I still have power than I’ll update later on! No promises though!

About texancountess

I find myself in the calming roar of the sea, floating gently on the foam of the breaking waves. Blue. Green. Gray. The colors of the sea mark the boundaries of my soul. The tumbled glass finds its polish under the relentless pounding of the waves upon the shore. Thus am I. Rough transitioning to polish, refinement ever a process, finding my niche in the storms of life.

Moving the bed into the living room was the best decision we’ve made all night.
